Friday, October 9, 2015: Many varieties of winter squash plus pie pumpkins, all kinds of apples, and a Pumpkin Patch perfect for photo taking!

While trees are coloring much slower than normal they are starting to look quite beautiful.  There is still a chance that fall color will be spectacular this year, just later than normal.  While the foliage nor the weather makes one fully realize we are well into the fall season, our great selection of colorful fall/winter apples, winter squash, pumpkins and fall decorations should.  Since the weather has been so mild we still are picking summer vegetables such as tomatoes, beans, peppers and even some sweet corn!  For more information on what we have available along with the specials we are currently running, scroll down below the photos…

SPECIALS for today:

Winter Squash (select varieties): $7 a 1/2 bushel or $12 a bushel (Winter squash can be stored to Christmas and for some varieties they will last through most of the winter. Check out this link here on how to store winter squash:

Pie Pumpkins: $12 a bushel (can also be mixed with winter squash or vice versa!)

Red Norland Potatoes: $10 a 1/2 bushel or $18 a bushel for field run (Potatoes can be stored all the way till next planting season! Here is an excellent article about storing potatoes:

Apple variety packs! Looking for a sampling of our many varieties? We have variety packs available in peck baskets, with three or more varieties per peck.

Jalapeno Peppers: $5 a 1/4 peck


All herb pots are 50 cents each

All other perennials are $1.50 each

Fruit trees are $20 a pot (Fall is a great time to plant fruit trees!)

Blueberries, raspberries, and grape plants are all $8 each.

Rhubarb plants are $5 each

Our pumpkin patch, and now inside our greenhouse, we have a wide selection of fall decorations including large and small Jack-O-Lantern type pumpkins, snow white pumpkins, our classic miniatures, Giant pumpkins, decorative and colorful gourds, green gourds, corn shucks, corn stalks and popcorn!

Other edible potted plants include: Blueberries, Fall and June bearing red raspberries, seeded and seedless grapes, rhubarb. SALE: All are now $8 each and rhubarb are $5 each.

All plants in greenhouse are on sale! Prices range from $2 to 50 cents each.


We strictly follow the guidelines put out by the officials of these helpful organizations.  This means we can only accept Senior Project Fresh or WIC Project Fresh coupons as well as EBT cards for pumpkins that are sold explicitly for food (Sugar/Pie Pumpkins).  While we do sell Giant Pumpkins and Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins, it is assumed these pumpkins will be used for decorations AND NOT FOR FOOD so we cannot accept payment for these decorative pumpkins with Senior Project Fresh or WIC Project Fresh coupons or the Bridge (EBT) Card.  For more details please contact the organizations from which you received the coupons or EBT card.  Thank you.
